Antique pair of Bronze Elephant candlesticks from India. This pair of antique "Bronze Elephant candlesticks" dates from the late 19th century and were cast very well from solid bronze. Each Elephant candlestick measures 6 and one half inches high by 6 and one half inches long. The elephants each have brass saddles and candle holders.This pair is quite heavy, not tippy in any way.

Antique India hanging horn light fixture, This rare hand made copper light fixture was made in the mid to late 19th century in India. The top of the light fixture depicts cow or bull horns. The main part of this hanging fixture has an all around pierce cut design. Measures 27 inches long not including the original chain and 11 inches across. Excellent condition with a deep rich old patina. This antique light fixture could be electrified if need be. We have seen many reproductions of this style fixture but this is the first original one we have ever come across.

Pair of period antique Indian doors c1800 mounted to a later cabinet. This matched pair of doors where made into a later cabinet some time ago. The doors may have come from a temple. Superb construction. This cupboard or storage cabinet measures 49 and one half inches wide by 26 and three quarter inches deep by 84 and one half inches high. The period doors each measure 24 inches wide by 73 and one quarter inches high. There is also two handmade drawers for storage on the inside.

Sandalwood Southern India glove box from Mysore c1855. This glove box was hand carved from solid sandalwood by a master carver in Southern India and used as a glove box. Measures 12 inches wide by 5 inches deep by 2 and one half inches high. This box is profusely carved with a variety of foliate designs interspersed with mythic beasts, people and peacocks. Excellent original patina and condition. There is one old line crack on the bottom board which has been reglued and one on the top left of the box which is hard to see.(which is quite normal for these period boxes) To see similar carving detail go to Furniture from British India and Ceylon by Amin Jaffer page 153
